Bushman River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Orange River. The Orange River forms the border between the Eastern Cape and Free State. The closest town is Aliwal North. All clients are picked up at Bloemfontein Airport which is about 2 hours’ drive from Bushman River Lodge.

There are four chalets consisting of 3 one-bedroom chalets with en-suite bathrooms, and one family unit that can sleep up to 6 people.  All the chalets have split unit air-conditioners and 110V power supply especially for American or overseas clients. All the chalets offer a beautiful view over the Orange River and there is nothing more relaxing than drinking a sundowner at the end of the day, while enjoying the view of the setting sun and the river.

All meals are prepared by a qualified chef and you can be assured of excellent food and professional service in the camp.
